Hi, On another thread, I had made a statement about the rights of passengers to determine the route to take, which led to some other questions being asked. It therefore occurred to me that some links to information about taxis in New York City might be helpful both for visitors and residents alike. All hired taxis and limousines in New York City fall under the oversight of a city agency called the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission, ot "TLC" for short. TLC has a very helpful website, which may be found at this site On that site, TLC gives the "Passenger's Bill of Rights". That page states the following: "As a taxi rider, you have the right to: Direct the destination and route used; Travel to any destination in the five boroughs of the City of New York; Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
